Like a beautiful legend, the tiny city of Bundi unfolds as you walk through its winding lanes. It's not as huge as the other Rajasthani cities, and tourists are just about discovering the many wonders of it, but you will be amazed at all that it has to offer. Walk through the town; it's the best way to discover its treasures. Catch shades of red, blue, gold and green in the breathtakingly crafted murals that adorn almost every corner. Visit its temples and mosques. Or amble through the architectural wonders called baoris or stepwells. Climb the stairs of old palaces and watch the world go by as you peer through the jharokhas. Or spend your evening discovering the star-shaped fort that is the pride of Bundi. Whatever you do, discover your treasures here before the crowd does.
