Shopping Delights

A delightful experience, with a range of goods you’re not likely to find elsewhere. Pick up anything from stone statues, wooden toys, lacquer bangles and colourful shawls. A special buy would be copies of the famous Bundi murals done on silk and paper. These are available at Bundi Art and Nahar ka Chotta. Miniature paintings marked by a particular green tint are another specialty buy here. The Kota-Bundi miniatures are done on silk, paper and marble and feature animals and landscape against a backdrop of red. Don’t leave without buying the beautiful and ever so elegant Kota Saris of Rajasthan which are sold in abundance here. And finally, Bundi laddoos are believed to have originated here, so get your hand on some!
