Festive Celebrations
Held in March preceding Holi, Brij Festival is celebrated to commemorate the Ras Leela by Lord Krishna. The dance illustrates the eternal love story of Radha Krishna performed by the village folk of Bharatpur. Dressed in bright and colorful costumes the air is filled with song and dance and both young and old participate in the festivities. Also watch the Jaswant Exhibition is held in September or October and is marked by a big carnival.
