A haven for bird lovers, Keoladeo Ghana National Park or Bharatpur National Park is a UNESCO declared World Heritage site. And why not? Where else would you come across the largest display of spectacular avi-fauna. We recommend visiting it during the monsoons, in contrast to the winter, because in winter some of India's best birds come out displaying their finest plumages turning the park into one spectacular display of colour. Of course, winter would let you get a glimpse of all migratory birds including the much awaited Siberian crane and the yellow billed storks. Hire a tonga through the park, or simply cycle the entire length of it - this is satisfaction guaranteed.
