When it comes to eating out, try the restaurants within the hotels that serve a delectable array of cuisine. Corbett Hideaway Resort has a selection of continental and Indian cuisines. As fresh as it gets, try out their Minestrone Soup, which, though a wee bit spicy is quite delicious. Gurney House, which derives its name from the house where Jim Corbett spent years in Nainital, serves a variety of Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, Continental and special cuisines from the Kumaon region. Try their chicken Kakori Kebab for a lip-smacking taste of gourmet cuisine! Jim's Grill is a round machan-like structure with stools around the centre and a tree rising through the middle. Jim's Jungle Retreat has a multi-cuisine restaurant that hosts Indian barbeque specials in true camp style. The restaurant at the Infinity Resorts overlooks the river and serves a wide variety of multi-cuisine dishes. Govind Restaurant in Ramnagar serves vegetarian cuisine and their eggplant specialties are a must-try! A word of caution though―non-vegetarian food and alcohol are strictly prohibited within the park premises.
