Loktak Lake: Also known as the Floating Lake, Loktak Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in north-east India. You will find a lot of organic matter like vegetation and soil floating atop the lake, called Phumdis, because of which the lake is called the Floating Lake. All in all, this is a very picturesque spot perfect for photo-ops!

Keibul Lamjao National Park: Located in the Bishnupur district, the Keibul Lamjao National Park sprawls upon 40 sq. km of land, and is the last natural habitat to a species of deer known as Sangai. It is just the place to visit for nature and wildlife lovers, and you will find a wide range of flora and fauna here, including Sangai, Indian civet cat, hog deer, etc.

Govindajee temple: One of the most important temples in Manipuri, the Govindajee temple is dedicated to Shree Govindajee. Commissioned by King Churachand, this temple flaunts a grand palatial design. Besides the idol of Govindajee, you will find idols of many other Hindu deities like Lord Krishna, Balaram, Subhadra and Jagannath.

Leimapokpam Keirungba temple: The Leimapokpam Keirungba temple was constructed in 1875, but is not in use any longer. However, it still remains one of the major monuments and landmarks in Manipur. Completely built in brick, this temple is a gorgeous specimen of the design sensibilities of olden times.

INA Memorial: The INA Memorial holds great importance in the history of modern India. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose formed armies here of young men and women, who led the Indian freedom struggle. The memorial was built in honour of the countless soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
