Best Time to Visit: The summer months from March to June are the best to visit Tawang. You can easily explore the beautiful town without having to worry about the weather conditions.

Clothing: If you're visiting Tawang in summer you will still need a few pairs of light woollens as the temperatures can go quite low. Carry along a light jacket and a pair of wool socks, just in case it gets really nippy.

Moving around: You can easily move within the town by hiring taxis and private vehicles as the roads are quite bad in some places.
