Momos are found everywhere in Kalimpong and are a favourite snack of locals and even tourists. Other snacks include Churpee, a kind of hard cheese, and Wai-Wai, packaged snacks which are made of noodles eaten dry or in soup form. Thukpa is found in most restaurants and so are other cuisines like continental, Indian and Chinese. Several Kalimpong hotels also have in-house restaurants that offer authentic food made by locals in their kitchens, so dining in your hotel restaurant is a good idea.
