Amazing Sikkim and Darjeeling - Summer Group Holidays

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra - Darjeeling (90 Kms / 3 hrs)
Meals: Dinner
Board your flight to Bagdogra. You will be met upon arrival by our representative. Later drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Overnight at Bhalukpong hotel.

Day 2: Bhalukpong - Dirang (07 hours drive)
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Breakfast at hotel. We will start sightseeing at 9.30 AM, covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday) and Japanese Temple or Peace pagoda. Sightseeing will be over by 1.30 PM.
Rest of the afternoon and evening will be at leisure for shopping, visit to the Mall road or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Darjeeling - Pelling (110 Kms/ 5 hrs)
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Early morning, approx. 4.00 AM, you will visit Tiger Hill before the break of dawn, to see the sun rise over Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world (subject to clear weather).

On your way back stop at the Ghoom Monastery, the holiest monastery in Darjeeling and Batasia Loop. We will reach hotel by 7.00 AM. After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Pelling. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Pelling - Gangtok (125 Kms / 5.5 hrs)
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, check-out from hotel. We will start sightseeing at 9.30 AM, covering Rimbi Waterfalls & Hydro Project, Sacred Khecheopalri Lake (30 Kms / 6000 Ft / 1829 Mts) Kanchendzonga Falls & Rimbi Rock Garden.

Afternoon, depart for Gangtok. (5500 Ft /1677 Mts). Upon arrival at Gangtok, check into your hotel. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Gangtok
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
After early breakfast in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake.
Further 12 kms from Tshangu Lake on lays the legendary Baba Mandir.
Tshangu Lake: situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.
New Baba Mandir: at an altitude of over 13,000 feet. It was built in memory of a soldier in the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who drowned in a stream near the spot. Legend says he later appeared in a dream to one of his colleagues where he requested that a temple be built in his memory.Late afternoon return back to hotel. Evening will be at leisure at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Gangtok
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Breakfast at hotel. We will start sightseeing at 9.30 AM, covering Rumtek Monastery (24 Kms), Do-drul Chorten or Stupa, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday) and the Flower Show. Later we enjoy the Rope way ride. Sightseeing will be over by 1.30 PM.
Rest of the afternoon and evening will be at leisure for shopping, visit to the Mall road or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Gangtok - Bagdogra (125 Kms / 5 hrs)
Meals: Packed Breakfast
Early morning drive to Bagdogra airport with packed breakfast.
